Brianna McCollum is an enthusiastic educator serving as an English 6, English 8, Reading 8, 7th-grade Teen Leadership, 8th-grade Computer Science, Communication Arts, and British Literature Teacher. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Brianna is the musical co-director, Speech & Debate Coach, Livestream facilitator, and Dungeons and Dragons club sponsor, demonstrating her commitment to enriching student experiences beyond the classroom. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Simpson College and is a certified FAA Drone pilot. With 6 years of teaching experience, Brianna is currently in her 4th year at Griswold. Her teaching philosophy centers on fostering a positive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to express themselves as informed global 21st-century learners. 

Outside of the classroom, Brianna enjoys reading, playing games—ranging from card and board games to computer/console and tabletop RPGs—crafting stained glass and jewelry, and singing and dancing with her daughter. She also cherishes having great conversations with family and friends.
